Vidovdan 10 km Road Race is being held from 1996 in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Race is a member of AIMS, and has a IAAF Bronze label from 2009 which makes her unique in the region of former Yugoslavia and this part of the Europe. In 2014. due to the catastrophic flooding in Bosnia and Herzegovina which was especially big in the city of Brčko, there was only humanitarian race. Besides the main 10 km race with the best athletes from Europe and the world, Vidovdan Race is famous around the world for participation of several thousand children in special programs of running. The race takes place through the streets of Brčko with the support of high number of spectators. This year all revenues made from entry fees will be spent in acquiring seedlings for aforrestation of areas suffering from landslides after last years flooding.
