  • The one that started it all. The Asda Foundation Leeds 10K is the original legacy run of the late Jane Tomlinson, who took on a series of endurance challenges to raise nearly £2m for charity despite battling terminal cancer. Jane died in 2007 soon after launching the 10K and now it is a highlight on the city’s running calendar – a hugely popular and inclusive event for runners of all abilities that captures the can-do, inspirational spirit displayed by its founder.   • It’s sometimes said that good things come in small packages – and that’s certainly true of the Burnley 10K. Attracting around 2,000 entrants, it’s not the biggest event on the Run For All calendar but it can lay claim to be one of the friendliest. You can look forward to a warm welcome and fantastic encouragement from the supportive crowds that turn out for one of the region’s favourite 10Ks. Starting and finishing in Towneley Park, you’ll soon fall in love with this course’s gloriously green feel featuring plenty of pretty parkland.

  • The Standard Chartered Great City Race is a unique 5km corporate running challenge which takes place around the closed off streets of the City of London. The team event will feature City runners from the Accountancy, Banking, Media, Insurance and Legal sectors, while raising funds and awareness for the official race beneficiary: Seeing is Believing. Seeing is Believing is committed to help tackle avoidable blindness across the world and this year, all funds raised through the race will be used to support the ongoing East Africa Child Eye Health programme.
